The first order of business for one of Tri City Dental Care new patients or any patient who hasn’t visited the practice recently is to have a comprehensive examination by one of our dentists. These examinations will allow the dentist to have an accurate idea of the state of your dental health, beyond a typical cleaning, and see if there are any issues that need to be addressed. During the examination, your dentist will:

- Take initial x-rays
- Examination of gums and soft tissue
- Inspect teeth for cavities or other damages
- Search for signs of periodontal disease
- Look for other diseases or potential issues
